Leadership and Team Management:** * **Supervise and train** front desk staff on customer service protocols and hotel standards. * **Create shift rosters and schedules**, ensuring optimal 24/7 Front Desk coverage. * **Evaluate team performance** and foster a positive, efficient work environment. * Ability to build processes from scratch. **2\. Operational Control and Systems (PMS):** * **Expert-level PMS (Property Management System)** proficiency for managing reservations, check-in, check-out, and room assignments. * **Revenue auditing:** Supervise cash register closings, cash handling, and banking terminals to ensure no discrepancies arise. * **Inventory management:** Monitor room availability and coordinate with the Channel Manager to prevent overbookings. **3\. Interdepartmental Coordination (Housekeeping and Maintenance):** * **Direct liaison with Housekeeping:** Report rooms for immediate cleaning and verify "ready" room status to expedite guest arrivals. * **Incident management:** Report and track maintenance work orders identified by staff or guests. **4\. Guest Service and Quality Assurance:** * **Conflict resolution:** Handle complaints or special requests diplomatically and resolve them promptly. * **Standards review:** Ensure the lobby and front desk areas are always immaculate and presentable. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum of 2–3 years in supervisory or front desk leadership roles within the hospitality industry. * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field (**Preferred**). Equivalent hands-on operational experience will be highly valued. * **Languages:** Advanced English (capable of holding fluent conversations and resolving technical issues with international guests). * **Technical Skills:** Expert-level proficiency in **PMS (Property Management System)**, OTA extranets (Booking, Expedia), and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).
