Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to inspect, verify, and ensure the quality of repaired vehicles by conducting road tests and managing rejections with technicians and service advisors. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform technical and functional inspections, including road tests. 2. Ensure vehicle cleanliness and customized configuration prior to delivery. 3. Manage rejections and notify service advisors of defects. **\-Requirements:** * Education: Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Senior Technician, or equivalent qualification. * Minimum 3 years’ verifiable experience. * Work location: BYD ATIZAPAN (Galerías Atizapán). * Valid driver’s license and proficiency in operating both manual and automatic transmissions. **\-Key Duties:** **Technical and Functional Inspection** * **Road Test:** Drive the vehicle to verify that noises, vibrations, or customer-reported defects have been resolved. **Aesthetic and Delivery Inspection** * **Cleaning Protocol:** Confirm the vehicle has no grease stains on the steering wheel, seats, or bodywork, and that plastic/paper protective covers have been removed. * **Customized Configuration:** Ensure no alterations have been made to the customer’s mirror, seat, or radio station memory settings. **Rejection Management** * **Feedback to Technician:** If the vehicle fails inspection, return it to the work bay with a clear explanation of missing or incomplete items. * **Defect Reporting:** Notify the Service Advisor immediately upon detecting any new defect not previously identified, so the customer can be informed. * **Repair Order Verification:** Cross-check that every item billed on the invoice was actually performed (e.g., if tire rotation was charged, confirm it was completed). * **System Scanning:** Use diagnostic tools (scanners) to ensure no active fault codes (DTCs) remain after repairs. **\-We Offer:** * **$9965 monthly gross salary plus bonus** * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Savings fund and credit union * Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:30 pm; Saturdays, 9:00 am–2:00 pm * Punctuality and attendance bonus **\*\*\*Interested candidates may apply through this channel\*\*\*** or send CV to recursoshumanos7@grupoautomundo.com addressed to Lic.
