Internal training on the use of 3D scanning equipment Field Architect for 3D Surveying San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León CATORZE BIM and Construction Technologies Job Description At CATORZE, we are looking for a **Field Architect for Surveying** to join our Operations / Construction department. The purpose of this position is to conduct precise architectural surveys using 3D scanning, generating reliable point cloud data for integration into BIM models and construction projections, ensuring data accuracy, usefulness for project planning and coordination, and compliance with field quality and safety standards. Main Responsibilities * Operate a 3D scanner to capture terrain, structure, and facility data. * Interpret collected information and generate accurate drawings or references for BIM models or technical documentation, ensuring structural and facility data are correctly reflected. * Ensure the quality and accuracy of field-collected data, verifying reliability for use in planning and modeling. * Comply with established safety regulations and procedures during surveys, ensuring safe work practices aligned with company standards. Profile Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, currently in final semesters or recently graduated. * Experience handling field survey tools, ensuring correct capture of terrain, structure, and facility data. * Strong sense of responsibility, commitment to work precision, and rigorous care of field equipment. * Willingness to travel and relocate within and outside Nuevo León. A valid visa is desirable. Competencies * Organization and planning of field survey tasks, following established work methodologies. * General technological skills for operating specialized equipment and associated software. * Effective communication for coordinating with engineering and BIM modeling teams. * Self-directed, proactive, and initiative-driven in independently resolving field issues. Working Conditions * Work schedule from Monday to Saturday, aligned with survey programs and project operational needs. * Primary workplace is on-site, conducting surveys at construction sites or projects within the Monterrey Metropolitan Area. * Work tools: 3D scanning equipment, computer, and specialized software for data processing and technical information generation. * Willingness to relocate to various projects within and outside Nuevo León, based on operational surveying and scanning requirements. * Internal training on the use of 3D scanning equipment and surveying processes. * This position includes an initial one-month probationary period. Salary: Starting at $15,000.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
