Location: **Arteaga** Req ID: **29162** * **Responsibilities** * Supervise daily activities in the mechanical assembly area. * Coordinate technical staff and assemblers to meet production plans and project requirements. * Ensure correct assembly of automated stations, tooling, conveyors, structures, and mechanical equipment per drawings and specifications. * Verify correct interpretation of mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, and CAD models. * Validate dimensions, alignments, leveling, and mechanical adjustments during the assembly process. * Coordinate installation of mechanical components such as: pneumatic actuators, linear guides, servo motors, gear reducers, sensors, welded structures, and material handling systems (AGVs, RGCs). * Supervise mechanical integration activities for welding, assembly, and industrial automation stations. * Monitor physical project progress and report deviations in schedule, quality, or materials. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and mechanical tolerances. * Identify and resolve assembly issues, mechanical interferences, or fabrication errors. * Coordinate rework and corrective actions arising from mechanical failures. * Validate mechanical release prior to electrical, pneumatic, or commissioning tests. * Supervise proper use of hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment. * Ensure workplace order and cleanliness under the 5S methodology. * Monitor compliance with industrial safety regulations and proper use of PPE. * Coordinate activities with Engineering, Manufacturing, Welding, Machining, Procurement, Controls, and Quality departments. * Manage workload distribution and resource allocation for technical staff. * Train technical staff on best practices for assembly and safety. * Participate in project review meetings and production status updates. * Generate progress, incident, and productivity reports for the area. * Validate received materials and components against BOMs and assembly drawings. * Ensure adherence to committed delivery dates. * Supervise on-site mechanical installation at customer locations when applicable. * Support startup, adjustment, and mechanical troubleshooting of automated equipment. * Promote continuous improvement in assembly processes and reduction of rework.
