Job Summary: The Tandem Backend Developer will design, build, and maintain integrations that expose existing business logic on the NonStop/Tandem platform via web services, modernizing legacy modules. Key Highlights: 1. Design and development of integrations on the NonStop/Tandem platform. 2. Modernization of legacy modules (COBOL, C, Java). 3. Participation in Agile ceremonies and support for UAT testing. Job Description: The Tandem Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations that expose existing business logic on the NonStop/Tandem platform via DAP \| REST web services as applicable. This includes modernizing legacy modules written in COBOL, C, and Java, ensuring their availability, scalability, and security for internal or external consumption. Technical Skills: 2\-3 years of experience with the Tandem system (Guardian, OSS, Pathway, Webgate) Programming languages: C, COBOL, TAL, GUARDIAN Knowledge of SQLMP / SQLMX. Knowledge of SOAP/XML, REST/JSON (Optional) Main Responsibilities: * Review of existing technical documentation * Updates and supplements to technical documentation * Participation in Agile ceremonies * Estimation of development effort * Design of COBOL components * Development of COBOL components * Unit and integration testing * Support for UAT testing * Deployment of changes in lower and higher environments
