**Job Description** **JOB DETAILS** **Daily wage: $513.33** **Work schedule: Monday to Friday** **Rotating every 2 weeks: Day shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm \- Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Verify full use of personal protective equipment (PPE) before entering the plant. * Attend daily safety meetings. * Check pending parts at the workstation, verifying quantity and part type. * Position parts on the workstation using a hoist or crane, depending on part size. * Regularly inspect the welding torch nozzle for cleanliness; clean it if dirty with grease, using needle-nose pliers to remove burrs and prevent clogging. * Weld missing sections and flip parts using the crane or hoist to weld the opposite side. * Perform arc-air gouging on defective parts (e.g., porosity) on both sides using carbon arc and carbon rods; then clean the part with an air hammer and re-weld. * Polish defective areas (e.g., excess weld) using grinding tools and clean the part with an air hammer. * Manually replace welding wire spools when empty. * Mark completed parts using stamped letters or codes indicating the welder’s identity. * Place finished parts using the hoist or crane alongside the workbenches. * Apply the 5S methodology in the work area: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain. * Substitute for crane operators to supply parts to welders and painters. * Participate in Kaizen events or continuous improvement initiatives. **Requirements** * Must be of legal age. * Completed secondary education. * Experience using GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding). * Arc-air gouging experience. * Welding with 0.45 and 0.52 mm wire. * Shift availability. **Additional Information** **Address:** ROGELIO GONZALEZ CABALLERO 600, PARQUE INDUSTRIAL STIVA, 66626 CD APODACA,N.L.
