Conducts impact assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate organizational environmental risks and associated financial costs. Inspects sites and investigates risk sources to protect local communities and the environment, ensuring the company complies with applicable internal and external environmental laws; executes environmental and safety-related municipal, state, and federal regulatory procedures. **A Day in the Life of...** * Continuously identify, record, and report hazards and incidents within the work environment, and understand procedures established under ISO 45001, to achieve an injury-free workplace. * Administer corporate standards for quality, food safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental management, aligned with fundamental principles and procedures as well as applicable official regulations; implement the Integrated Management System (NQMS, ISO\-22000, ISO 9000, and ISO\-14001\). * Coordinate environmental improvement programs by analyzing environmental aspects and impacts across production and administrative processes, aiming to maintain the company’s internal and legal standards. * Evaluate pollutants generated at each process stage and in final treatment (WWTP), analyzing their impact on water, air, and soil to comply with internal and external standards and reduce or prevent adverse impacts. * Establish and maintain environmental and ecological training programs for new hires, and develop area-specific training programs based on environmental aspects and impacts inherent to each work area. * Track action plans derived from accidents, audits, assessments, site inspections, etc. **What Will Make You Successful…** 3 years of experience in similar roles within industrial environments. Professionals holding degrees in Environmental Engineering or related fields.
