It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities. **Job Description** =================== * Identification and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and control system failures in production equipment (motion control systems, servo motors, and controllers). * Interpretation and creation of electrical and pneumatic schematics and diagrams. * Diagnosis of failures in production equipment. * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment according to assigned tasks and scheduled timelines. * Diagnosis of flow and leak test equipment; diagnosis of vision inspection and laser marking system failures. * Assisting in improving production equipment to enhance efficiency. * Performing and modifying industrial electrical and pneumatic installations on equipment within the Production area. * PLC programming (basic systems, ladder logic language). * Diagnosis of ultrasonic welding equipment. * Use of basic workshop tools. * Conducting activities in accordance with local safety procedures. **Requirements:** * 2–3 years in similar positions * Technical degree in a related field. * Experience in the medical device industry (preferred) "BD values workplace equity and does not discriminate against any disability, class, ethnicity, age, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation". **Why Join Us?** ================ To find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
