**Calibration Technician – Laboratory Instruments.**
We are seeking a **Calibration Technician** with a background in Metrology, Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemistry, or a related technical field to join our team in the laboratory instrument calibration department. Key responsibilities include calibration and verification of equipment such as **multimeters, thermometers, high-voltage testers, power supplies, megohmmeters, potentiometers, oscilloscopes, stopwatches, temperature measurement devices, water baths, and other instruments used in laboratories, industrial settings, or research**, as well as preparation of calibration certificates and record-keeping in accordance with established procedures.
Experience and Requirements
**A valid driver’s license and ability to operate standard and/or automatic vehicles are mandatory requirements**, as services are provided both at our laboratory and at client facilities.
Willingness and availability to travel.
We seek responsible, organized, and proactive individuals with basic knowledge of measuring instruments, strong ability to interpret technical procedures, and proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and Word. Experience in accredited laboratories and familiarity with applicable standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 is highly valued.
Engineering or technical degree.
Spanish and English language proficiency.

Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
Fundamental tools.
Two years of verifiable experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and aptitude in quality management systems.
Expertise in basic problem-solving methodologies — Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagram, Five Whys analysis, 8D, and A3 (mandatory)
Extensive experience in quality management systems: quality planning, quality control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Proven leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively; supervision and teamwork capabilities are required.
Practical knowledge of tools, manuals, diagrams, DWG files, schematics, and calibration of measuring instruments.
Ability to visually identify damaged and/or defective equipment using appropriate measurement techniques.
Sense of urgency.
Problem-solving capability.
