A cargo yard security guard is security personnel specialized in inspecting, registering, and controlling access of cargo units, containers, and tractor-trailers within company yards. Primary responsibilities include physical inspection, seal verification, logbook completion, surveillance patrols, and document management, ensuring a safe and orderly logistics flow. **Main Functions and Activities** · **Physical Inspection:** Thoroughly inspect cargo units and trailers upon entering and exiting the yard. · **Document Control:** Verify documentation, record information in logbooks or administrative forms, and checklists. · **Security:** Conduct surveillance patrols within the yard to prevent risks. · **Logistics:** Manage entry and exit of personnel and cargo vehicles. **Rotating Shifts:** * 2 days from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. * 2 days from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. * 2 days off * 5 working days, 2 days off Location: Boulevard Gustavo Galaz km179, Colonia California, Castaños, Coah.
