Job Summary:
Handle raw materials and finished products, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality by operating warehouse and shipping equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operation and handling of forklifts and warehouse systems.
2. Ensure compliance with food quality and safety procedures.
3. Essential support in the production and shipping chain.
**Primary Job Objective:**
Handle raw materials in process and finished products, following established procedures and work methods to achieve maximum efficiency, safety, and quality at the lowest possible cost.
**Core Areas of Responsibility:**
* Receive shift handover physically, verbally, and in writing.
* Report any abnormal situations occurring during the process.
* Complete forklift logbook FR\-PT\-07\-GR.
* Operation and handling of forklifts.
* Operation and handling of pistol scanners, barcode scanners, and overall systems (Tran Collector and JDE).
* Perform required Tran Collector and JDE transactions in the Warehouse and Shipping areas.
* Collect material from the dock and store it in the appropriate location.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Operate PT with necessary care to prevent material damage.
* Understand IEQSA operations and provide support when required.
* Apply and ensure compliance with procedures and work instructions established by the current Food Quality and Safety Assurance System.
* Apply and promote BALL principles, behaviors, and values.
**Line Forklift Operator:**
* Supply packaging materials to production lines.
* Ensure packaging material inventory is maintained in the assigned area.
* Unload and stack PT pallets, as well as remnants.
* Unload DPI pallets and place them in the designated area.
* Handle brilliant pallets in Pal/Depal operations.
* Input end-of-run items into the sorter, as well as pallets requiring sorting.
* Reorganize and maintain order in the DPI area and production line area.
* Replace stretch wrap rolls when required and resolve conveyor discharge issues, provided they are not electrical problems.
* Support the production supervisor with required maneuvers.
**Shipping Forklift Operator:**
* Receive shipping documents, verify information, and prepare shipments.
* Verify ticket information to ensure alignment with shipped products and complete the shipping report. 24\. Inspect physical condition of boxes and complete form FR\-PT\-02\-GR.
* Load trailers according to shipping document instructions and/or IEQSA requirements. Deliver documents to the carrier (invoice, packing list, dispatch note, etc.).
* Reorganize and maintain order in the warehouse and shipping areas.
* Report packaging conditions of finished products.
* Verify that the trailer is properly hitched and secured with at least one chock.
* Place returns in the designated area.
* Load directly from the production line when applicable.
