Work with various label substrates and inks **Company:** Clothing label manufacturing **Position:** Flexographic Printer **Department:** Production **Reports to:** Production Supervisor **Position Objective** Operate and adjust flexographic printing machines for the production of textile labels and adhesive labels, ensuring print quality, compliance with customer specifications, and efficiency in the production process. **Main Responsibilities** * Operate **flexographic printing machines** for label production. * Prepare the machine: mount plates, adjust inks, register, and apply pressure. * Inspect and ensure **print quality** (color, registration, definition). * Prepare and adjust **inks, anilox rollers, and substrates** (nylon, satin, polyester, paper, or adhesive materials). * Conduct print tests and make adjustments during production. * Identify and correct print defects. * Comply with established **quality and production standards**. * Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance on the machine. * Record production orders and material consumption. * Collaborate with the **design, prepress, and finishing departments**. **Requirements** ***Education:*** * Secondary school or technical high school diploma (preferably in graphic arts or printing). ***Experience:*** * 2–3 years operating **flexographic printing machines**. * Experience in printing **labels, flexible packaging, or textile materials** (preferred). ***Technical Knowledge:*** * Mounting **flexographic plates**. * Handling **anilox rollers and ink viscosity**. * Color registration. * Handling various **label substrates**. * Print quality control. * Machine adjustments and troubleshooting print issues. ***Skills*** * Attention to detail. * Responsibility and organization. * Teamwork. * Quality focus. * Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
