**Job Title**
Trainee Quality Engineer
**What Your Day Will Be Like**

The Quality Trainee will support continuous improvement initiatives within the organization, contributing to the development and monitoring of strategies that enhance business performance in the distribution transformer manufacturing area.
The role will focus on participating in quality and continuous improvement projects, process analysis, and supporting the application of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence tools. The trainee will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, track initiatives, and contribute to process optimization.
Additionally, the trainee will participate in data analysis activities, report creation, and support the implementation of digital tools, gaining hands-on experience in an industrial environment aligned with Siemens Energy’s guidelines.
**Your Responsibilities**

* Support quality and continuous improvement projects in the operational area
* Participate in identifying and analyzing process improvement opportunities
* Support the application of Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen, PDCA, VSM, etc.)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute quality initiatives
* Support data collection, analysis, and presentation for KPI tracking
* Participate in Kaizen events, training sessions, and continuous improvement activities
* Contribute to generating progress reports and project tracking reports
**Requirements for This Position**

* Currently enrolled student or recent graduate (maximum 1 year of experience) in Industrial Engineering or related field
* No professional experience required (internships, academic projects, or practical training are a plus)
* Basic knowledge of quality and continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, PDCA, VSM — desirable)
* Interest in quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence areas
* Basic knowledge of APQP (desirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
* Basic knowledge of digital tools (Power BI, Power Apps or similar — desirable)
* Intermediate level spoken and written English
