Supplier Quality Engineer Chassis

Description

Responsible for supplier management to ensure the quality of products delivered to Stellantis Group manufacturing plants and for developing the quality system of the supply chain. PPAP approvals for new projects and engineering changes. Coordination of quality problem containment activities and root cause investigation using advanced problem-solving techniques. Implementation of corrective and preventive actions, continuous improvement, and action plans at supplier plants. Supplier audits to ensure compliance with Stellantis and automotive industry quality standards and requirements. Responsible for supplier quality and warranty metrics, as well as action plans aimed at improving these metrics. Responses to internal customers regarding issues or tracking of supplier improvement plans. Support to the Procurement Department in investigating and selecting new suppliers. **Requirements:** Engineering degree. Minimum 5 years of experience. Knowledge of automotive industrial processes (preferably metal-mechanical). Familiarity with Core Quality Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA2, SPC, MSA, CP). Knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, RedX, Six-Sigma). Demonstrated leadership in problem resolution. Excellent verbal and communication skills for presentations at all organizational levels. Ability to adapt, learn quickly and continuously. Self-directed, task-focused, team-oriented, responsible, organized, and capable of working in a high-urgency environment.
