Join us in pursuing solutions for a sustainable future.** ACCIONA, within its construction business, requires a Site Manager for its new project in La Palma. **Job Description** ### **Mission** Plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise the execution of assigned civil works in accordance with guidelines set by their supervisor, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality, safety, and technical requirements established for each project. They are responsible for the proper execution of civil works contracts, ensuring appropriate organization and optimization of assigned human, material, and financial resources. They also ensure compliance with applicable regulations, customer satisfaction, and achievement of the project’s technical and economic objectives. ### **Responsibilities** Key responsibilities include: * Planning and organizing work execution, defining priorities, work phases, resource requirements, and execution timelines. * Coordinating and supervising on-site personnel, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project. * Controlling the correct technical execution of works, verifying adherence to design documents, technical specifications, applicable regulations, and established quality standards. * Monitoring the project’s economic performance, controlling costs, production, certifications, measurements, procurement, contracting, and budget deviations. * Managing relationships with the client, technical supervision, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and external bodies linked to the project. * Supervising adherence to the construction schedule and proposing corrective actions as needed to ensure achievement of committed milestones and deadlines. * Processing and tracking permits, licenses, legalizations, and documentation required for proper project execution. * Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety, quality, and environmental regulations on site. * Reviewing and approving measurements, certifications, comparisons, purchase orders, and financial closings related to the project. * Identifying issues, analyzing risks, and proposing technical, organizational, and economic solutions to support successful project delivery. * Preparing progress reports and keeping their supervisor informed about the project’s technical, economic, and organizational status. * Representing the company in all matters related to project execution. **Candidate Requirements** ### **Requirements** **Education** * University degree in **Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals, and Ports), Public Works Engineering, Technical Architecture**, or equivalent qualification, depending on the position and project requirements. **Experience** * Prior experience of **3–5 years**, or more depending on role complexity, in managing and executing civil works. * Experience in urban development, linear works, infrastructure, earthworks, structures, piping, pavements, or similar projects is desirable. * Experience in team management, subcontractor oversight, economic control, and construction planning. **Technical Knowledge** * Knowledge of civil works execution, planning, production, costing, measurements, and certifications. * Familiarity with technical regulations applicable to civil works. * Knowledge of **Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management**. * Proficiency in construction management software: **Excel, Project, AutoCAD, Presto**, and/or corporate management tools. * Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise management systems is desirable. *We are a company that values diversity as a source of talent and therefore strive to foster an inclusive environment promoting respect, belonging, and commitment—ensuring equal opportunities for all.
