Comprehensive resource management at the production plant **METODO ESCALA NEGOCIOS SA DE CV is seeking a Batching Plant Operator in Polotitlán, State of Mexico** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Profile **Production Supervisor** **Company’s Business Sector** A construction-sector company specializing in **ready-mix concrete production** for construction projects. **Objective** To achieve **efficient and effective ready-mix concrete production**, in accordance with established guidelines and specifications provided by the logistics department, ensuring appropriate use of available materials, equipment, and tools. **Daily Responsibilities** * Conduct brief daily meetings with operational staff to review results, production progress, daily issues, and possible solutions or continuous improvement actions. * Supervise the daily production schedule and ensure proper concrete batching according to required specifications. * Verify vehicle dispatches with confirmed loads and timely delivery of supplies. * Monitor operational staff performance and report incidents. * Follow up on safety and hygiene parameters within the plant facilities and report unsafe conditions. * Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the plant and work areas. * Record raw material inputs and consumption in the batching system, and verify available inventories for production. **Periodic Responsibilities (Weekly or As Required)** * Manage and control human, material, and financial resources at the plant. * Administer petty cash and verify expenses. * Track attendance, days worked, and overtime hours for plant personnel. * Monitor fuel consumption through receipt and registration of fuel tickets. * Verify proper operation of production equipment and scales. * Follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance of the plant and work equipment. * Supervise the receipt and storage of raw materials (cement, aggregates, and admixtures). * Inform the procurement department about inventory status and material consumption. **Urgent Responsibilities** * Immediately report any malfunction, risk, or situation requiring immediate attention to the relevant personnel (General Manager, Logistics Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Quality Manager). * Address operational incidents that may affect production, safety, or concrete quality. * Coordinate corrective actions when failures are detected in equipment, materials, or production processes. **Requirements** Education: Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in: * Industrial Engineering * Civil Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Related field **Experience** * **2–4 years in a similar position** * Experience in: + Concrete production + Management of operational personnel + Inventory control + Operation of a production plant **Competencies** * Leadership and personnel management * Teamwork * Proactivity * Responsibility * Conflict resolution * Decision-making * Effective communication * Results orientation * Problem analysis and resolution * Inventory management **Technical Knowledge** * Concrete production and batching * Inventory management * Microsoft Office * Material control * Ready-mix concrete plant operation **Desirable Qualifications** * Industry standards for concrete * Mix design * Concrete quality testing * Batching software **Employment Offer** Salary: $18,000 net Contract: Indefinite-term (with probationary period).
