Supervises and controls inventory, personnel, and prepares cost sheets. **HUNTER MEXICO is seeking a PURCHASING MANAGER in Portales \- Benito Juárez, Mexico City** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **LEADING TEXTILE COMPANY** **SEEKS** **PURCHASING MANAGER** A textile-sector company is seeking a **Purchasing Manager** with solid experience in planning, negotiation, and strategic procurement of raw materials. **Main Responsibilities** * Planning and scheduling of fabric purchases for core and seasonal lines (40–60 days in advance). * Supervision and control of inventory (maximum and minimum levels). * Analysis of cutting orders and raw material consumption. * Negotiation of prices and terms with suppliers. * Development and evaluation of new suppliers. * Monitoring fabric and input quality. * Generation of purchase orders in SAE. * Preparation and control of cost sheets and final product cost. * Supervision of personnel (Junior Buyer, Warehouse, and Assistants). * Monthly reporting to General Management (inventory and surplus). * Authorization of returns and follow-up on supplier incidents. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as head of the purchasing department. * Experience in the textile sector (preferred). * Proficiency in SAE. * Knowledge of inventory and cost control. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate–Advanced Excel). **Competencies** * Leadership * Effective negotiation * Teamwork * Sense of urgency * Attention to detail * Frustration tolerance **We Offer** * Monthly salary of $20,000–$25,000 MXN, based on experience * Statutory benefits from day one * Job stability * Workplace near Portales Metro Station **Desired Education Level:** Higher education \- currently pursuing **Desired Experience Level:** Expert level **Departmental Function:** Commercial / Sales **Industry:** Textiles **Skills:** * TEAMWORK * WORKING UNDER PRESSURE * HONESTY *This vacancy originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=6a0cc01b3900003100717204\&source\=indeed*
