If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. **What you’ll do:** ------------------- Eaton's division is seeking a Maintenance Technician A in Tijuana, Mexico (electrical location). **Primary Function:** Provide technical support to maintain manufacturing equipment and production process tools, ensuring reliable and safe operation. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Production departments to sustain equipment performance. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery to ensure integrated quality, production continuity, and on-time deliveries meeting customer requirements—covering processes from SMT through final assembly and packaging. **Essential Functions:** * Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to support and implement methods, standards, and tools necessary to sustain manufacturing processes and production equipment. * Provide direct technical support to production lines, ensuring proper operation of manufacturing equipment and process tools. * Diagnose, identify, and repair technical failures in manufacturing machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-related issues. * Repair and resolve equipment failures associated with process deviations to restore normal operating conditions. * Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability and reliability. * Conduct measurements, inspections, and functional verifications of equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions and compliance with specifications. * Perform equipment failure analysis to identify root causes and support actions that reduce unplanned downtime. * Develop and execute autonomous, preventive, and predictive maintenance routines based on manufacturer recommendations, historical data, and technical experience. * Analyze equipment performance trends and maintenance data to support continuous improvement of maintenance routines. * Support identification and procurement of tools, spare parts, and equipment required for new and existing projects. * Support creation, submission, and tracking of purchase requisitions related to maintenance tools, spare parts, and services. \#LI\-KL1 **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Basic Requirements:** **Preferred Education Level:** Technical degree or demonstrable experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance. **Years and Area of Required Experience:** More than 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, including SMT, wave soldering, conformal coating, automatic insertion, and manual/automatic depaneling equipment. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical failures. Programming and configuration skills for assembly equipment are highly valued. **Technical Knowledge:** Electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagnostics. **Skills:** ----------- **Soft Skills:** Responsibility, effective communication, teamwork, and initiative.
