GOVALAB, a leading veterinary laboratory in the state, seeks a committed and detail-oriented Histotechnologist to join our team to establish the tissue processing area. · Job Location: Ensenada, Baja California · Position Type: Full-time on-site (40 hours per week) · Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00 Responsibilities: · Reception, identification, and cutting of tissue samples. · Paraffin embedding, microtome sectioning, and slide mounting. · Performing hematoxylin\-eosin and special stains. · Quality control of histological slides. · Proper handling of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment. · Compliance with biosafety standards and good laboratory practices. · Ideal (not mandatory) knowledge of immunohistochemistry techniques to establish this area in the short to medium term. Requirements: · Technical or university degree in Histotechnology or related fields. · Minimum 6 months’ experience in Pathological Anatomy laboratories. · Knowledge of histological techniques and laboratory equipment operation. · Attention to detail and focus on quality.
