Opportunity to apply payroll system and legal knowledge **TORRES DAVA is seeking a PAYROLL SPECIALIST in Arcos Vallarta \- Guadalajara, Jalisco** ------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Job Objective** Ensure the accurate, timely, and regulation-compliant execution of the payroll process in accordance with labor, tax, and social security regulations, ensuring proper payments, correct application of earnings and deductions, and fulfillment of employer obligations to IMSS, INFONAVIT, and SAT. **Specific Responsibilities** * ***Receipt and validation of payroll incidents*** Receive HR incidents (absences, tardiness, vacations, disabilities, overtime). Verify that incidents are signed and validated by respective department heads. Register incidents in the payroll system. * ***Payroll calculation and preparation*** Process weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll according to the payment calendar. Calculate earnings (base salary, bonuses, commissions, overtime). Calculate deductions (IMSS, INFONAVIT, tardiness, loans, authorized deductions). Validate that calculations align with incidents and wage tables. * ***Payroll disbursement and delivery*** Generate bank disbursement file and validate it with Finance. Submit payroll to the bank for timely and proper deposit. In case of cash payments: deliver sealed envelopes signed by employees, subject to prior authorization. * ***Social security and taxes*** Perform employee registrations, terminations, and modifications in IMSS via IDSE. Calculate and remit INFONAVIT contributions and credit withholdings. Fulfill payroll-related tax obligations: electronic invoicing (CFDI), withheld ISR, and reporting to SAT. * ***Settlements and liquidations*** Calculate severance payments for resignation or contract termination. Prepare liquidations in accordance with the Federal Labor Law (LFT) in cases of dismissal. Coordinate with Human Resources for delivery and signing of severance documents. * **Additional tasks** Assist with cash counting during cash reconciliations. Invoice clients. Prepare bank statement reports for reconciliation of batch closures and transfers. Enter warehouse notes. Separate purchase orders by supplier and week.
