**General Information**

**Job Objective**
The objective of this position is to **accurately and timely process, calculate, and manage employee payroll**, ensuring compliance with current labor and tax legislation, as well as maintaining updated personnel files and records. Handles employee inquiries.
**Main Responsibilities**
**1\. Payroll Calculation and Processing**
* Collect, verify, and process personnel **incidents** (absences, tardiness, overtime, leaves, bonuses, child support, disabilities, and incentives).
* Calculate earnings and deductions in accordance with employment contracts and labor legislation.
* Process payroll payments (weekly, biweekly) using the appropriate management software.
* Calculate benefits payments such as year-end bonus (aguinaldo), vacation premium, and severance or final settlements.
**2\. Legal and Tax Compliance**
* Generate and validate files for employer-employee contribution payments to IMSS and INFONAVIT (via platforms such as SUA or SIPARE).
* Calculate corresponding income tax (ISR) withholdings for accurate filing and payment.
* Prepare and review annual earnings and withholding certificates.
**3\. Personnel Management and Support**
* Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll slips, tax calculations, or benefits.
* Prepare and update personnel files with payroll-related documentation (employment contracts, onboarding, offboarding, salary adjustments).
* Manage IMSS procedures for onboarding, offboarding, and salary adjustments.
**4\. Reconciliation and Reporting**
* Conduct periodic reconciliations between accounting records and the payroll system.
* Prepare periodic reports for Finance or Accounting departments to project personnel expenses.
* Archive and safeguard supporting documentation for payments made.
**Requirements and Candidate Profile**
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (degree completed).
* **Experience:** Minimum 3–4 years of experience in similar roles or in personnel administration.
* **Technical Knowledge:**
* Federal Labor Law (LFT).
* IMSS and INFONAVIT regulations.
* Proficiency with SUA, IDSE, SIPARE software and SAT portals.
* Payroll software usage (e.g., CONTPAQi, Aspel NOI, SAP, or others).
* Intermediate-to-advanced Excel (pivot tables, data cross-referencing).

* Attention to detail: In payroll processing, even minor errors can have significant consequences. Precision is critical to avoid costly mistakes and maintain employee trust.
* Problem-solving ability: Discrepancies in payments or employee data may occur frequently. Quickly identify the root cause and implement timely solutions.
* Effective communication: The payroll assistant must clearly and accessibly explain complex topics to both employees and supervisors.
* Stress management during high-demand cycles: Workload increases substantially during payroll periods. Maintain composure to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Salary: $14,000.00 – $17,000.00 per month
