Description

**Job Objective:** Supervise and coordinate the activities of the vinyl application area, ensuring correct installation on various types of surfaces and projects while meeting quality standards, delivery timelines, and safety requirements. Lead the technical team, promoting sound work practices, effective communication, and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and supervise tasks performed by the vinyl application team. * Ensure proper vinyl application on various surfaces and formats. * Conduct quality inspections before, during, and after installation. * Assign daily tasks and verify adherence to production timelines. * Train staff on application techniques and safety measures. * Report incidents, progress, and departmental needs to the production manager. * Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and materials. * Read and interpret blueprints, designs, and instructions in English and Spanish. * Implement corrective actions for errors or deviations in the process. * Maintain effective communication with other departments such as design, printing, and logistics. **Types of Vinyl Application to Master:** * Experience applying vinyl on diverse surfaces: including automobiles, marine vessels, accessories, and furniture. * Knowledge of different vinyl types—specifically, experience working with permanent and temporary vinyl. * Proficiency in vinyl preparation and application techniques—including weeding plotted vinyl and properly preparing surfaces prior to application. **Requirements:** * Minimum 5 years of professional vinyl application experience. * Demonstrable experience leading work teams. * Ability to resolve operational issues on the production floor. * Proficiency with application tools: squeegees, heat guns, utility knives, etc. * Bilingual: Spanish and English (reading and comprehension of technical instructions). * Knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene regulations. * Willingness to work onsite or at external locations if required.
