Vinyl Application Specialist

Description

**Job Objective:** Coordinate activities of the vinyl application department, ensuring proper installation on various types of surfaces and projects, while meeting quality standards, delivery timelines, and safety requirements. Lead the technical team, promoting sound work practices, effective communication, and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** · Coordinate and supervise tasks performed by the vinyl application team. · Ensure correct vinyl application on various surfaces and formats. · Conduct quality inspections before, during, and after installation. · Assign daily tasks and verify adherence to production timelines. · Train staff on application techniques and safety measures. · Report incidents, progress, and departmental needs to the production manager. · Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and materials. · Read and interpret blueprints, designs, and instructions in English and Spanish. · Implement corrective actions for errors or deviations in the process. · Maintain effective communication with other departments such as design, printing, and logistics. **Requirements:** · Minimum 5 years of professional vinyl application experience. · Ability to resolve operational issues on the production floor. · Proficiency with application tools: squeegees, heat guns, utility knives, etc. · Bilingual: Spanish and English (reading and comprehension of technical instructions). · Willingness to work onsite or at external locations as required. · Prior experience with vinyls: cut, printed laminated, vehicle graphics, micro-perforated, high-adhesion, removable vinyl.
