You will be responsible for ensuring the technical success of our deployments, guaranteeing that our sensor, software, and autonomy solutions transform efficiency and safety across the mining industry. **What You’ll Do With Us:** * **Active Implementation:** Lead installation, configuration, and commissioning of complex hardware and software at mining sites. * **Troubleshooting:** Serve as the technical escalation point for networks, Linux, databases, and field devices. * **Technical Consulting:** Customize systems via *scripting* and ensure data integration through APIs. * **Training:** Train customer operators and technical staff to maximize technology value. * **Project Management:** Collaborate with Project Managers to meet timelines and budgets while maintaining high documentation standards. **What We’re Looking For:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields. * **Experience:** 3+ years in mining technology, software engineering, or advanced technical support roles. * **Technical Proficiency:** * Administration of **Linux/Unix** (especially Ubuntu) and **Scripting**. * Experience working in processing plants (mandatory) * Databases: **PostgreSQL, SQLite, SQL Server**. * Solid networking fundamentals (IP, routing, wireless networks). * Mining knowledge * **Languages:** Fluent English (mandatory). * **Mobility:** Willingness to travel frequently to mines (domestic and international), valid driver’s license, and valid passport. **Your Soft Skills:** * Strong communication skills and ability to build customer relationships. * Disciplined documentation practices and efficient time management. * Proactive focus on safety (SSO) and continuous improvement. **Why Join Hexagon?** You’ll join an innovative company that values equal opportunity and diversity, working with cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of autonomous industries.
