Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while fostering an optimal work environment. Key Highlights: 1. Ensures customer satisfaction and inventory control Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, acting as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer guidance and utilize all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code, interact respectfully, courteously, and professionally with each other and our customers, and consistently apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improving them, promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and monitor area supervisors’ tasks—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, conduct cash sweeps, and perform cash register closings for assigned staff following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
