Crown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long\-term future. **Job Description:** Job Summary\*\* Shell Press Operator Description Ensure operation of press processes according to customer specifications, based on Crown's established standards, procedures, controls, and policies under a continuous improvement process—minimizing downtime, optimizing material usage, and supporting forming mechanics to achieve operational KPIs, business growth, retention, and profitability while ensuring fulfillment of our customers' needs. Requirements • Technical degree in Automotive Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is mandatory. • Strong sense of responsibility • Interest in production and manufacturing operations • Minimum of 1 year in current position Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair shell press machinery to ensure continuous and efficient production within a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities\*\* * Perform routine preventative maintenance on shell presses, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on shell press equipment. * Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components such as bearings, gears, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders. * Calibrate and align press components to maintain optimal performance and product quality. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repair. * Document maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent. * Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, during maintenance activities. * Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize press operation. * Assist in the installation and commissioning of new shell press machinery. * Maintain a clean and organized work area.
