Production Coordinator

**Job Purpose** --------------- Efficiently coordinate and supervise production operations at a plant with 22 automotive axle assembly and machining lines, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and operational efficiency standards. Guarantee timely product delivery in accordance with customer requirements and the organization’s financial objectives. * **Education:** Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is desirable. * **Experience:** Minimum 5 years in the automotive sector in similar roles. * **Technical Knowledge:** * + IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards\. + Certified internal auditor (desirable). + Six Sigma and Core Tools methodologies. + Inventory management and operational financial analysis. * **Skills:** * + Leadership and multidisciplinary team management. + Effective English communication (fluent). + Results orientation and continuous improvement mindset. + Analytical capability and decision-making ability. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** ----------------------------------- * The **Production Coordinator** reports directly to the **Production Manager**. * Supervises **5 Production Supervisors**. * Each Supervisor manages a team of **Team Leaders** (32 in total). * Team Leaders directly supervise **400 Production Operators**. **Key Responsibilities:** * Coordinate daily production activities, ensuring adherence to established plans. * Supervise and develop the 5 supervisors, fostering leadership and continuous improvement within their teams. * Ensure compliance with quality standards under **IATF 16949**, as well as environmental management (**ISO 14001**) and occupational health and safety (**ISO 45001**) systems. * Serve as an internal auditor for the aforementioned standards, promoting continuous improvement. * Maintain fluent English communication with corporate headquarters in the U.S., international customers, and shareholders during visits and audits. * Implement and promote continuous improvement methodologies such as **Six Sigma**, **Core Tools** (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). * Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose corrective/preventive actions. * Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Logistics departments to ensure operational efficiency. * Evaluate the financial impact of operational decisions, including inventory matters, cost absorption, and resource utilization efficiency. * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies across all production lines.
