Job Summary: Responsible for managing the end-to-end manufacturing cycle of high-precision mechanical components, from design to CNC milling machine and lathe operation. Key Highlights: 1. Process optimization and productivity improvement CNC PROGRAMMING AND OPERATION (Lathe and Milling Machine) JOB DESCRIPTION The incumbent is responsible for managing the end-to-end manufacturing cycle of high-precision mechanical components. Their primary responsibilities span technical interpretation of requirements, specialized software-based design, and commissioning and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Education: Degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields. Software and Programming Languages: Proficiency in Mastercam for design and manufacturing; advanced knowledge of G-code and M-code. Industrial Control Systems: Proven experience using and configuring GSK controllers. Metrology: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use measurement tools. Technical Competencies: Knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerances. Gender: Male. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Multi-machine Operation: Setup, assembly, and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines for manufacturing complex parts. Quality Control: Continuous verification of produced parts to ensure compliance with technical standards and required tolerances. Process Optimization: Implementation of improvements in machining sequences to reduce cycle times and material waste. Maintenance and Improvement: Proposing enhancements to tooling and cutting strategies to increase workshop productivity. SKILLS AND ATTITUDES Analytical capability to resolve technical issues at the machine site. Focus on precision, attention to detail, and excellence in manufacturing. Proactivity in implementing improvements and optimizing resources.
