We are looking for a **Cybersecurity Network Engineer** who brings hands\-on experience in **firewall administration, cloud networking (Azure), and Zero Trust architectures** to join our team in Mexico City. Does that sound like you? **About the job** As a Cybersecurity Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining secure network designs across LAN, WAN, and SD\-WAN environments, enforcing segmentation and access control across our global infrastructure. In your future role as **Cybersecurity Network Engineer** you will: * **Administer and maintain Fortinet FortiGate and Azure Firewall environments**, managing rule lifecycles, policy tuning, and network hygiene under least\-privilege principles. * **Implement secure Azure network designs**, including hub\-spoke topologies, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateways, ensuring configurations adhere to security hardening standards. * **Secure switching and routing infrastructure (Cisco/Aruba)**, analyzing BGP/OSPF protocols and VLAN segmentation to identify and mitigate security weaknesses. * **Strengthen Zero Trust architecture** by analyzing and reconfiguring policies in **Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)** and managing micro\-segmentation with **Guardicore** to prevent lateral movement. * **Monitor network performance and support incidents**, using observability tools to triage alerts, capture packets (Wireshark), and collaborate with the SOC on threat hunting. * **Automate routine tasks** by developing **Python or Ansible** scripts for firewall rule audits and compliance validation. **We believe you bring** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Sciences, or a related field. * **Experience:** Extensive experience (typically 8–10 years) in network security engineering, with deep operational knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and Azure networking services. * **Licenses/Certifications:** Fortinet NSE 4 (or higher) and Microsoft AZ\-700 (Azure Network Engineer Associate) are required. * **Language:** Professional proficiency in English. * **Technical Depth:** Practical experience with WPA3 wireless security, routing updates hardening, and core network services security (DNS/DHCP). **Great if you have:** * **Zscaler ZTCA** (Zero Trust Certified Associate) or **Cisco CCNP Security** certifications. * Prior exposure to **Guardicore** for traffic visualization and workload\-level policy enforcement. **We believe you are:** * An **analytical problem\-solver** capable of diagnosing complex network faults and identifying threats through deep packet analysis. * An **automation\-oriented professional** who seeks to optimize repetitive processes through scripting and configuration management. * A **collaborative team member** who can work across functions to align network security with business outcomes. **We offer you** At Nouryon, we provide a great job and friendly coworkers, plus benefits in addition to salary.
