Job Summary: Ensure the setup and operation of vertical CNC machining centers, guaranteeing quality, on-time delivery, and resource optimization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation and adjustment of vertical CNC machining centers 2. Interpretation of mechanical drawings and CNC programming 3. Optimization of cycle times and part quality Job Objective Ensure proper setup, adjustment, and operation of vertical CNC machining centers, guaranteeing part quality, adherence to production schedules, and resource optimization. Responsibilities Set up, mount, and adjust CNC machining centers. Interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances. Program and edit programs in Mazatrol and G-code. Select cutting tools based on material. Define cutting parameters (RPM, feed rate, depth of cut). Mount fixtures and devices. Validate first parts and release production. Measure parts using precision instruments. Adjust offsets and parameters. Optimize cycle times. Perform basic maintenance. Technical Knowledge Mazatrol, G-code, cutting parameters, metrology, materials (1018, A36, stainless steel). Knowledge of MAZAK and HASS machines Experience 3 to 5 years in vertical CNC with experience in setup and adjustment. KPIs Setup time, scrap rate, tolerance compliance, efficiency. -Requirements- Minimum education: High school diploma (General Baccalaureate) 3 years of experience Age: between 23 and 50 years Keywords: operator, machinist, operator
