Job Summary: Ensure setup, adjustment, and operation of CNC machining centers, guaranteeing quality, production timelines, and resource optimization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation and adjustment of vertical CNC machining centers 2. Interpretation of mechanical drawings and programming in Mazatrol/G-code 3. Cycle time optimization and basic maintenance Job Objective Ensure proper setup, adjustment, and operation of vertical CNC machining centers, guaranteeing part quality, adherence to production schedules, and resource optimization. Responsibilities Set up, mount, and adjust CNC machining centers. Interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances. Program and edit programs in Mazatrol and G-code. Select cutting tools according to material. Define cutting parameters (RPM, feed rate, depth of cut). Mount fixtures and devices. Validate first parts and release production. Measure parts using precision instruments. Adjust offsets and parameters. Optimize cycle times. Perform basic maintenance. Technical Knowledge Mazatrol, G-code, cutting parameters, metrology, materials (1018, A36, stainless steel). Experience 3–5 years of experience operating vertical CNC machines with setup expertise. KPIs Setup time, scrap rate, tolerance compliance, efficiency. -Requirements- Minimum education: Upper secondary education – General High School Diploma 3 years of experience Age: 23–50 years Knowledge: CNC, blueprint interpretation, resource optimization Keywords: operator, machinist, operator
