Service Technician – Mining (14x7 Shift) At Epiroc, our Service Technicians play a critical role in ensuring operational continuity, reliability, and safety of equipment at mining sites. This position is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, technical diagnostics, and repairs—contributing to minimizing downtime, optimizing costs, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Job Mission\- Perform maintenance and repair of drilling equipment and mining machinery in accordance with technical and safety standards, ensuring operational availability, fulfillment of customer requirements, and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** **Maintenance \& Repair** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on surface and/or underground mining equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic failures. Remove, repair, and install components and subassemblies of equipment. Support technicians responsible for major repairs and overhaul activities. **Technical Support \& Continuous Improvement** Provide technical advice on diagnostics and best practices for maintenance and operation. Recommend improvements to maintenance plans and equipment management. Analyze potential risks and propose safety and operational improvements. Ensure compliance with maintenance and availability KPIs. **Safety, Quality \& Reporting** Identify and manage safety and environmental risks associated with tasks. Strictly apply safety guidelines and operating procedures. Maintain order and cleanliness in work areas, tools, and equipment. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely service reports. **Profile Requirements** **Education:** Technical diploma or engineering degree in Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity, or related field. **Experience:** 3–5 years of experience maintaining surface drilling machines and/or underground mining equipment. Experience with Epiroc equipment or multi-brand equipment (desirable). **Technical Knowledge:** Mechanics, hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems. RCS (Rig Control System). Interpretation of technical manuals and service procedures. **Tools:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **Language:** Intermediate English (desirable). **Others:** Class B driver’s license (desirable).
