Teamwork and attention to detail ***Gran Hotel Ciudad de México is seeking*** **WAITER** **Position Objective** Deliver warm, efficient, and professional food and beverage service, ensuring a satisfying guest experience while meeting the hotel’s quality standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Greet and serve guests in a courteous and professional manner. * Accurately and promptly take food and beverage orders. * Explain the menu, ingredients, preparation times, and daily specials. * Perform suggestive selling (upselling) of food and beverages. * Set up, clean, and maintain workstation in order. * Deliver orders correctly to the kitchen and bar areas. * Monitor service timing. * Verify guest satisfaction during service. * Handle accounts and payments per established procedures. * Comply with hygiene, safety, and personal appearance standards. **Requirements** * Education: Secondary school or high school diploma (preferred). * Experience: Minimum 1 year as a waiter in hospitality or restaurants. * Basic knowledge of food and beverages. * Basic POS system operation (preferred). * Flexible schedule and availability to rotate shifts. **English Proficiency** * **English MANDATORY** * Able to greet guests, take orders, and explain the menu. * Handle common requests from international guests. **Competencies and Skills** * Service-oriented and hospitable attitude. * Clear and friendly communication. * Teamwork. * Attention to detail. * Stress management and quick response. * Appropriate personal appearance.
