We are currently seeking our next SENIOR LABOR ATTORNEY. This position is on-site in the city of León, Guanajuato. We seek talent that is creative, dynamic, and results-oriented. General Objectives: Safeguard and maintain healthy labor relations between the company and its employees through the implementation and management of strategies that enhance mutual satisfaction, ensure a positive work environment, boost productivity, and drive business results. Main Responsibilities (non-exhaustive): 1. Collaborate with the Labor Relations Management team to ensure Human Talent projects comply with applicable labor laws. 2. Verify that all documentation, templates, policies, processes, and labor practices across each business unit conform to current labor regulations. 3. Coordinate with the Legal Department and Labor Relations Management the Ethics Committee, promoting a safe, respectful, diverse, and inclusive workplace through preventive actions and resolution mechanisms for situations violating the Code of Ethics, company values, and internal regulations. 4. Manage and oversee legal strategies for handling and resolving conciliations and lawsuits. 5. Liaise with authorities for all notifications to business units (Labor Conciliation Centers, Judicial Branch, Labor Inspections, audits, and STPS notifications). 6. Coordinate labor inspections across all stages: information gathering, follow-up, and closure. 7. Supervise responses submitted to the Judicial Branch regarding child support claims and other legal requests. 8. Advise and monitor business units’ compliance with the Internal Work Regulations. 9. Control and administer notarial powers granted to the Human Talent team (requesting, distributing, and revoking). 10. Train and upskill Human Talent teams on current labor legislation. 11. Coordinate and supervise legal services provided by specialized labor law firms. Requirements: Age Range: 28 years and older. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law. Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Junior or Senior Labor Attorney in corporate labor relations departments, including litigation experience and coordination of external law firms. Prior experience at labor-focused law firms preferred. Desired expertise in collective labor relations; comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the Federal Labor Law and current legislation (including recent labor reforms). Experience drafting templates, policies, and procedures defining and regulating labor relations within the company. Experience in workforce reduction processes and restructurings, handling labor inspections, calculating severance payments, performance indicators, and analysis and strategy development related to litigation.
