This position defines, standardizes, and optimizes pest control and agricultural application programs, ensuring crop sustainability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role combines technical leadership with strategic vision, directly impacting productivity, crop quality, and business profitability. **What You’ll Do:** * Lead the regional integrated pest management (IPM) strategy. * Standardize application (spray operations) programs across ranches and operations. * Supervise technical teams and field leaders, ensuring execution aligned with objectives. * Implement innovation initiatives in biological control, application technologies, and precision agriculture. * Define and track KPIs related to phytosanitary control, operational efficiency, and costs. * Ensure compliance with phytosanitary, food safety, and environmental regulations. * Manage and optimize departmental budgets. * Collaborate with Production, Quality, Food Safety, and other key departments. * Assess phytosanitary risks and develop mitigation plans. * Participate in the selection and evaluation of strategic suppliers. * Develop technical talent within your team. * Design and implement training programs for field teams on pests and diseases. * Ensure knowledge and correct application of products, including new formulations. * Oversee continuous monitoring of pests and diseases to enable timely decision-making. * Develop and maintain relationships with research centers to drive innovation and best practices. **Requirements** **What You’ll Bring to the Team:** * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Entomology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). * +8 years of experience in pest management, applied entomology, and agricultural operations. * Strong experience implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs and phytosanitary monitoring. * Experience leading technical teams and operations across multiple locations. * Advanced knowledge of agrochemicals, biological control, and new formulations. * Experience in process standardization, continuous improvement, and definition of operational KPIs. * Experience in training and developing technical field teams. * Relationship-building or collaboration with research centers, universities, or technical entities (preferred). * Knowledge of agricultural, food safety, and environmental compliance regulations. * Advanced English proficiency. * Willingness to travel. **Additional Information** **Wonderful’s Commitment to You:** * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * A values-aligned workplace focused on results and sustainability. * Wonderful Giving (www.wonderfulgiving.com), enabling you to direct company resources to the cause of your choice. **Why Choose Wonderful?** Wonderful Citrus is part of The Wonderful Company, a global private company valued at **$6 billion**, dedicated to advancing health and happiness worldwide.
