Join a leading company in premium food distribution A leading Mexican company in premium food distribution and logistics is seeking: ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT Requirements: 2–3 years of experience in general accounting. Desirable experience in consumer goods, distribution, or food companies. Knowledge of inventory, cost accounting, reconciliations, and suppliers. Technical Skills Intermediate–advanced Excel (mandatory). ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred). Knowledge of taxes, electronic invoicing (timbrado), and CFDIs. Experience preparing reports, reconciliations, and working papers. Main Responsibilities: A. General Accounting Record accounting journal entries. Reconcile accounting and bank accounts on a weekly/monthly basis. Review and validate the integration of accounting files. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable balances. Prepare variance, movement, and balance analyses. B. Inventory, Cost Accounting, and Cold Chain (in coordination with Operations) Record inventory movements. Reconcile accounting inventories on platforms. Validate logistics costs. Support monthly closing of merchandise and inventory costs. C. Procurement, Imports, and Suppliers Validate domestic and international supplier invoices. Record import costs, DTA, customs entries (pedimentos), customs brokers, freight, and related services. Ensure proper classification of operational and administrative expenses. Maintain import documentation control for audits. D. Billing, Revenue, and Administrative Support Record revenue and reconcile it against issued invoices. Ensure proper accrual of period revenue and expenses. Support billing processes and credit notes as required. Provide documentary support for external and internal audits. E. Monthly Closings and Reporting Ensure accounting accurately reflects logistics, commercial, and import operations.
