




Job Summary: We are seeking an Accountant with technical accounting and tax experience, and an understanding of the leisure and entertainment sector, to join our dynamic team. Key Highlights: 1. Proactivity, initiative, and service-oriented attitude At Grupo Orenes, a leading company in the hospitality and leisure sector, we are looking for an Accountant who combines technical accounting and tax expertise with a deep understanding of the unique aspects of the leisure and entertainment industry. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (degree conferred). • Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience. • Experience using accounting ERP systems (e.g., CONTPAQi, ASPEL, SAP, COI). • Intermediate Excel proficiency (minimum 60%) and Word proficiency (minimum 50%). • Basic knowledge of federal and state taxes. • Experience handling expense integration, amortizations, depreciation, reimbursements. • Desirable experience in accounting file management, XML control, and travel allowances Functions and Responsibilities • Recording of accounting journal entries (revenues, expenses, daily entries). • Classification and physical/digital filing of accounting documents. • Input and review of supplier invoices. • Support in preparing financial statements and working papers. • Maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers. • Management of reimbursements, travel allowances, and supporting documentation. • Support in fulfilling tax obligations (DIOT, withholding taxes, provisional payments). • Preparation of accounting and administrative reports. • Daily use of accounting systems (ERP) and office tools Competencies and Skills • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. • Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. • Responsibility, ethics, and commitment. • Organizational ability and effective communication. • Teamwork and cross-departmental interaction. • Proactivity, initiative, and service-oriented attitude. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Adaptability to processes and continuous improvement.
