##### ***Mérida******,*** ***YUC******,*** ***México*** We are seeking a committed student to complete their professional internship as a **Data Analyst and Excel Specialist.** This internship is designed to be both educational and practical—you will apply advanced logical and analytical skills acquired during your academic training and implement them in a professional Business Intelligence environment. You will gain deep insight into how data architecture and automated reporting drive efficiency within a global technology company. In this role, you will work closely with Business Analytics departments to optimize information processing. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into structured reports, maintaining internal databases, and developing automated templates that simplify complex tasks. **Proficiency in Excel** **Proficiency in Power BI** **Technical Knowledge** **Administrative Work** #### **Responsibilities** * **Data Architecture Support:** Collaborate on the design and maintenance of advanced Excel models and Power BI dashboards. * **Process Automation:** Develop and refine automated templates to replace manual data entry tasks. * **ETL Operations:** Support extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources into our internal reporting systems. * **Database Integrity:** Audit and update internal databases to ensure data accuracy and consistency. * **Reporting and Visualization:** Create clear visual representations of key metrics to help teams identify trends and opportunities. * **Collaborative Analysis:** Participate in technical sessions to translate business requirements into functional spreadsheet logic. #### **Requirements** * **Academic Background:** Student pursuing a degree in Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus. * **Analytical Rigor:** Solid logical reasoning and a natural aptitude for problem-solving. * **Advanced Spreadsheet Interest:** High proficiency in MS Excel (familiarity with nested formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning). * **Technical Curiosity:** Eagerness to learn and master Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI (DAX and Power Query). * **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous focus on accuracy to ensure integrity of financial and operational data. * **Language Skills:** Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to operate effectively in an international environment. #### **Desirable** * Prior knowledge of VBA, SQL, or Python. * Basic familiarity with Power BI Desktop or other data visualization software. * Strong eye for clean UI/UX design applied to professional dashboards. ##### **We Offer:** * Opportunity for learning and professional development. * Involvement in challenging and relevant projects. * A collaborative and continuously learning work environment. ##### **Required Documents:** * CV in English. * Scanned copy of both sides of your INE. * **Desirable:** Portfolio of work—documentation or visual evidence of previous BI projects, complex Excel models, or Power BI dashboards.
