**Job Objective**
Deliver theoretical and practical knowledge related to forensic ballistics, firearms examination, trajectories, ballistic evidence, and expert analysis, fostering in students the technical, ethical, and analytical competencies essential to criminalistics and forensic science.
**Academic Profile**
* Bachelor’s degree in Criminalistics, Criminology, or related fields.
* Specialization, diploma, or verifiable experience in Forensic Ballistics.
* Teaching and/or expert experience is desirable.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Deliver theoretical and practical instruction in forensic ballistics.
* Design and conduct practical exercises involving firearms, trajectories, and ballistic analysis.
* Develop instructional plans, assessments, and academic materials.
* Teach proper handling of ballistic evidence and chain of custody procedures.
* Guide students in preparing expert opinions and forensic analyses.
* Monitor students’ academic and disciplinary performance.
**Required Knowledge**
* Internal, external, and terminal ballistics.
* Identification and classification of firearms.
* Trajectories and crime scene reconstruction.
* Latent fingerprint analysis and basic criminalistics.
* Chain of custody.
* Applicable legislation in criminal and forensic matters.
* Preparation of expert opinions.
* Safe handling of firearms and safety protocols.
Salary: $150\.00 per hour
