Contribute to improvements in quality, efficiency, and safety. **Job Description** **General Objective:** Manage the Process Engineering department and provide strategies to meet performance metrics and objectives for product manufacturing, ensuring products comply with quality specifications in an efficient manner. **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for managing, guiding, and developing the Process Engineering department. * Develop strategies to meet performance metrics. * Develop and optimize processes across the value chain, as well as update or implement related systems and documentation for process control and improvement. * Ensure that quality, cost, efficiency, administrative, and safety improvement projects and initiatives from the Process Engineering group are successfully completed on time. * Monitor and control cost, efficiency, and productivity results; establish action plans when necessary; and prepare budgets and projections for these areas. * Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies for processes. * Apply methodologies such as MKOS, Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving and Quality, Core Tools, 6 Sigma, and MKOS Methodology in executing area activities and projects, as well as those assigned to personnel under supervision. * Participate in Kaizen events, MKOS programs, CAPAs, and C\-hold orders as required. * Ensure operations comply with quality standards to prevent OFIs and internal/external NCs. **Experience:** * Bilingual (English–Spanish) 85% (B2\). * Minimum 3 years of experience in the Medical/Surgical industry in roles directly related to Manufacturing or Warehouse Logistics processes. * Knowledge and experience in Automation, including control, pneumatics, mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, programming, and integration. * Familiarity with molding, extrusion, FFS (Form, Fill, Seal), warehouse processes, and automation. * Proficiency in and ability to implement Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving and Quality Tools, Core Tools, 6 Sigma, and MKOS Methodology. * Proficient in Minitab, AutoCAD, AS400, M\-Power, Pack Draw, Macros, Adobe, Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) (advanced level). * Ability to interpret and analyze data for decision-making. * Knowledge of ISO\-13485 Medical Devices Quality Management Systems standard. * Basic knowledge of computer system programming. * Experience as an internal quality auditor (desirable). **Competencies / Soft Skills** * Teamwork, data interpretation aptitude, determination, proactiveness, results orientation, sense of urgency, leadership, people orientation, negotiation skills. * Decision-making leading to positive outcomes based on analysis. * Ability to manage diverse resources according to individual capabilities, as well as develop and retain such resources. * Availability across shifts.
