We boldly go. **Where is the work:** On\-Site (5 days) **What’s in it for you?** As a PQE (Process and Quality Engineer) for sheet metal, you will ensure appropriate support for meeting safety, quality, production, delivery, and cost objectives, as well as establish a culture of continuous improvement in the Compressors and HVAC plant manufacturing areas. **What you’ll do:** Audit and maintain processes in optimal condition. Responsible for keeping Method Sheets, visual aids, forms, and quality records up to date at the source. Update PFMEA for any product or process changes. Update and ensure compliance with the Control Plan. Update and ensure compliance with JSA. Define and control line balancing, Standardized Work, and Combined Work Sheet. Measure, analyze, and improve SCRAP, FPY, DPU, Downtime, and Line Efficiency metrics. Analyze concessions and warranties. Provide support and follow-up on engineering changes. Manage and implement new projects. Participate in Gemba walks and RIES. Support and follow up on MDI boards. Analyze and track complaints and CARs. Program sheet metal CNC equipment. Control and maintain tools and equipment. **What you’ll bring:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in metal-mechanical manufacturing processes (preferred). Experience in Manufacturing Engineering / Process Engineering / Quality areas. Approximately 3 years of specific knowledge relevant to the area of responsibility: Assembly / Sheet Metal / Machining. General knowledge independent of the specific area: AutoCAD, Office, Lean Manufacturing, Core Tools, DMAIC, GD\&T, Minitab, Basic Electricity (Specific knowledge per area of responsibility: CNC Programming / MIG, TIG & Oxy-fuel Welding / Cutting Tool Maintenance).
