Position Summary: The IT and Cybersecurity Coordinator oversees the organization's technological infrastructure and systems, ensuring operational continuity, information protection, and efficient user support. The IT and Cybersecurity Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the organization's technological infrastructure and internal systems, ensuring operational continuity, information protection, and efficient support for users and work teams. The primary objective is to guarantee secure, functional, and business-operationally aligned technological environments, responding promptly to detected incidents, vulnerabilities, or anomalies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Administer and supervise corporate technological infrastructure: servers, networks, LAN/WLAN connectivity, VPNs, and IP telephony. * Ensure information security through threat monitoring, access control, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity incident response. * Implement and monitor information security policies, controls, and best practices aligned with corporate standards. * Manage users, permissions, passwords, licenses, and access to internal systems and corporate platforms. * Coordinate preparation, allocation, safeguarding, and control of technological equipment for staff. * Maintain up-to-date inventory and logbook of technological assets, operational equipment, and replacements. * Supervise installation, updates, and proper functioning of software, corporate tools, and internal systems. * Detect anomalies in infrastructure or security and act promptly to minimize operational risks. * Coordinate specialized technical support for users and ensure operational continuity across departments. * Manage technology vendors and monitor maintenance, licensing, and external services. * Prepare reports, internal controls, and technical documentation related to IT infrastructure and security. * Participate in audits, mitigation plans, and continuous improvement initiatives in technology and cybersecurity. * Availability to travel and provide on-site support to various operational locations as required. Requirements: a) Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. * Experience in technological infrastructure, IT support, and cybersecurity. * Knowledge of network administration, firewalls, VPNs, and SSL/TLS security protocols. * Desired knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS. * Experience in access management, security monitoring, and vulnerability management. b) Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): * Analytical and problem-solving ability. * Decision-making capability and rapid response to incidents. * Leadership and team coordination skills. * Organizational and process-tracking abilities for technological workflows. * Teamwork orientation and service mindset. * Effective communication with both technical and operational departments. * Conflict resolution and ability to work under pressure. * Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
