Opportunity for growth and continuous training Route Planner A logistics and courier company is seeking a **Manual Route Planner**, responsible for the operational design, organization, and optimization of delivery routes to ensure efficient deliveries, reduced transit times, and compliance with service metrics. This position requires experience in logistics planning, geographic knowledge of delivery zones, and the ability to respond promptly to real-time operational incidents. Responsibilities * Develop manual delivery and pickup routes. * Assign vehicles and operators based on capacity and volume. * Monitor route adherence and delivery timeframes. * Optimize routes to reduce costs and idle time. * Coordinate operational incidents with drivers and traffic control. * Track deliveries, pickups, and supporting documentation. * Validate loads, sequencing, and zone assignments. * Maintain constant communication with operations and customer service teams. * Adjust routes in response to contingencies, traffic conditions, or operational priorities. * Generate productivity and performance reports. Requirements * Completed bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 1–2 years of experience in route planning, traffic control, or logistics. * Familiarity with geographic areas and local/regional routes. * Intermediate Excel proficiency. * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * Experience working under pressure and meeting KPIs. * Flexible availability for shift scheduling.
