Microbiology Analyst

Position Summary: Perform environmental monitoring and microbiological analysis of various products, preparing culture media and solutions, and analyzing results. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in Microbiology Laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry. 2. Solid knowledge in water analysis and sampling, environmental monitoring. 3. Strain handling and identification, sterility testing, and endotoxin testing. Responsibilities: • Conduct environmental monitoring and microbiological analysis of: raw materials, supplies, bulk products, finished products, cleaning validations, process validations, and critical service monitoring. • Prepare culture media, solutions, reagents, and sanitizers. • Perform special analyses as required, carrying out all tests specified for parenteral products. • Analyze, report, and deliver analytical results for raw materials, excipients, and finished products accurately and without deviations to the responsible department head within established timelines. Social or Economic Benefits BENEFITS: • Competitive salary • Statutory benefits and enhanced benefits from day one • Grocery vouchers • Subsidized cafeteria • Savings fund • School supplies support • Vacation days • Year-end bonus Other Requirements REQUIREMENTS: • Degree in Food Quality Engineering, Food Biotechnology, Industrial Pharmacy, Industrial Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field, with professional license (mandatory). • Experience in a Microbiology Laboratory within the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and/or food industry. • Solid knowledge in water analysis and sampling, environmental monitoring, and strain handling and identification. • Knowledge of microbial limits testing, sterility testing, and endotoxin testing. • Knowledge of Mexican Official Standards NOM-059, NOM-073, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Federal Health Regulations (FEUM), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), ICH guidelines, basic microbiological analysis methodology, incubation methods, data transfer, validation data interpretation, and CAPA. • Availability to work rotating shifts.
