It's a colorful world \- leave your mark by joining the BIC team today. **Job Objective** ======================= Ensure compliance with quality standards for raw materials, components, processes, and finished products through the application of quality systems, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies, guaranteeing conformity with internal, local, and corporate regulations, as well as internal and external customer satisfaction. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Analyze applicable standards for raw materials, components, products, and services to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOM). * Verify proper implementation of sampling methods, testing methodologies, protocols, and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Execute quality principles through analysis of records, preparation of reports, and recommendations for improvements to processes, products, or services. * Develop and execute inspection, verification, and validation protocols for raw materials, components, materials, equipment, and process or product changes. * Identify, analyze, and address recurring quality issues related to products or processes using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Whys, 5W2H, statistical analysis, etc.). * Evaluate test procedures during the development of new products, processes, and engineering changes. * Document quality deviations, performance indicators, and improvement proposals within the Integrated Management System for review by Management. * Ensure achievement of position-, functional area-, and plant-level KPIs (e.g., scrap, cost of poor quality, non-conformities, voice of the customer, etc.). * Manage direct reports: administration, performance evaluation, overtime control, training, and development. * Coordinate and execute validation plans for the introduction of new products and monitor engineering changes in current processes. * Maintain constant communication with BIC subsidiaries to share best practices and solutions for improvement opportunities. * Participate in internal and external audits under standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, serving as an internal auditor when applicable. * Keep functional area management system documentation up-to-date and ensure its proper dissemination across the plant. * Train your team and operational staff on quality standards, procedures, and management system changes. **Profile Requirements** **Education:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, or related field). **Experience and Knowledge:** * Experience with Quality Systems in multinational mass-production industries. * Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001\. * Solid knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics and data analysis. * Basic knowledge of applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOM) for writing instruments or consumer products. * Experience in validations, change control, audits, and supplier management. **Languages:** * Advanced English (mandatory). * French is desirable. ### **Key Competencies** * Analytical thinking and data-driven approach. * Methodical, organized, and highly adherence to procedures. * Results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement. * Leadership ability and capacity to develop operational teams. * Communication and negotiation skills in multicultural environments. * Empathy and ability to manage organizational change.
