The role’s objective is to coordinate Engineering Department activities for the development and implementation of the Puebla site’s project portfolio, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, the site’s capital investment plan, and the company’s investment policies. In this role, you will be responsible for: * Planning, coordinating, and monitoring Project Department activities in alignment with business commitments. * Coordinating necessary resources for investment project management, including specialized engineering and construction services, according to the discipline required for each project. * Ensuring appropriate and timely information flow among various engineering and construction disciplines. * Applying BASF procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure projects are executed in accordance with quality requirements and applicable standards. * Implementing and ensuring compliance with BASF directives on Safety, Ecology, and Hygiene, guaranteeing correct application of Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plans across all project lifecycle stages. * Establishing communication and collaboration interfaces with Business Units and stakeholders, presenting project progress to respective responsible parties to ensure cost, scope, and schedule adherence. * Developing short- and medium-term (1–5 years) investment plans for the Puebla site based on requests and needs from Production and Infrastructure areas. * Managing projects in coordination with specialized service providers such as contractors and engineering firms, as well as relevant departments (Operations, EHS, Automation, Maintenance), ensuring correct implementation of required modifications for site projects. * Administering the authorized capital investment budget for the site and reporting budget expenditure progress to Technical Services Management, keeping senior leadership informed. * Analyzing and reporting Project Department KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing enhancements to project development procedures. * Ensuring proper documentation of information generated during investment projects and maintaining up-to-date project files and folders, guaranteeing availability for each project owner. Maintaining the site’s project master plan and systems (SAP, PPM), ensuring compliance with budget, timeline, and quality KPIs. * If you have: * Bachelor’s degree / Engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related fields. * Solid experience and knowledge in project management, construction monitoring, engineering, safety, and budget management. * Advanced level of English. **This vacancy is for you!** Create your own chemistry: What we offer...
