Job Summary: Supports the Hygiene and Sanitization Supervisor in ensuring compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards at the Xalostoc Plant by supervising operational and pre-operational processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support inspection and supervision of pre-operational cleaning instructions. 2. Coordinate and report seizure of areas and solid waste. 3. With presence in 17 countries and over 44,000 employees, we commit daily to our core values and purpose: **Delicious food for a better life.** **Job Objective** Support the Hygiene and Sanitization Supervisor in fulfilling the hygiene and sanitization prerequisite at the Xalostoc Plant through reviewing compliance with work instructions during operational and pre-operational sanitation activities at the plant, and ensure fulfillment of the Pest Control Program prerequisite. **Job Requirements** * 1 year of experience in this position * Food Engineering or related field **Job Responsibilities** Support inspection and supervision of compliance with the plant’s pre-operational instructions (POES for cleaning), regarding washing and sanitization of areas and equipment. Also guide and supervise that activities are carried out according to established instructions during tasks performed by general hygiene assistants in cleaning and sanitization operations for surfaces, equipment, hands, etc. * Support inspection and supervision of area and machine wash release activities. * Submit written reports on time and as required. Verify that equipment is released according to cleaning and sanitization protocols (with visual release and bioluminescence). * Coordinate, track, and issue reports on the removal of seized areas and solid waste. Support supervision of orderly, timely, and proper removal of seized items and solid waste, from processing areas to the waste container. * Maintain inventory of swabs (minimum 100 units) for equipment release using the bioluminescence method, as well as swab inventory for allergen release. * Issue sampling reports for sanitizer concentrations in sanitary footbaths; verify label identification information and aqueous concentrations across various processing areas where the Hygiene and Sanitization Area is responsible for their preparation. * Participate in verification of the pest control program provider, including monitoring and compliance with the program. Review and notify deviations and corrective actions being taken to resolve incidents. Participate in follow-up and processing to ensure required maintenance interventions for pest control. * Support inventory management of brushes and cleaning tools required in critical and non-critical areas. Support necessary training for general hygiene and sanitization assistants on responsible use of assigned brushes. * Assist the supervisor in organizing operational and pre-operational activities for critical area washes. * Assist the supervisor in ensuring operational and pre-operational activities performed by general hygiene and sanitization assistants. * Participate in identifying supplies used in pre-operational and operational hygiene and sanitization activities, and know the inventory of cleaning tools available in critical areas. * Participate in fulfilling the quality pillar and in TPM programs assigned to or requested of the Hygiene and Sanitization Area. * Support and release washing and sanitization activities for \, and participate in and release equipment descaling activities. *At Sigma, we promote originality.
