Description
**Assistant Geotechnical Engineer.**
Position Objective
Support the execution of geotechnical studies and field surveys for road inventory, contributing to the identification of geological hazards and the development of technical recommendations for road preservation and safety.
Responsibilities
* Conduct geotechnical field surveys.
* Support soil and rock characterization in the project area.
* Collaborate on slope stability and foundation studies.
* Participate in the supervision of excavations and sampling.
* Prepare auxiliary technical reports and field records.
* Coordinate with the team of geologists and resident engineers.
* Comply with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering (intern or graduate).
* Minimum 1 year of experience in infrastructure projects or professional practice in geotechnics.
* Basic knowledge of:
* Slope stabilization.
* Foundations and piles.
* Excavations in soil and rock.
* Technical software (AutoCAD, GIS, geotechnical analysis programs).
* Willingness to work in rural areas.
Conditions
* Salary: **$12,000 net**.
* Project-based contract.
