Combine strategic responsibility with close people leadership **Purpose of the Role** The IT Hub Director Mexico City is a senior leadership role responsible for building, leading, and continuously developing HARTING’s IT Hub in Mexico. Acting as a **strategic bridge between Europe, the USA and Mexico**, the role ensures high\-quality IT delivery while fostering an inspiring, inclusive, and engaging work environment where people want to grow and stay. The IT Hub is currently being set up and will continue to evolve as a key global IT partner for HARTING, with a focus on **CRM, Data Science/Engineering, Cloud Technology and (Network) Infrastructure**. **Key Responsibilities** **People Leadership \& Culture** * Build, inspire, and lead a high\-performing IT organization with a strong sense of belonging to HARTING. * Create a culture of trust, transparency, accountability, and continuous learning. * Coach and develop team leaders and high\-potential employees; establish clear career paths and succession planning. * Foster high employee engagement and long\-term retention in a competitive IT talent market. * Act as a role model for HARTING’s values and leadership principles. **Cultural \& Global Collaboration** * Serve as a **cultural ambassador** between Europe, the USA and Mexico, aligning communication styles, expectations, and ways of working. * Build strong, trust\-based relationships with European business and IT stakeholders. * Translate business needs into actionable IT strategies while ensuring mutual understanding across regions. **IT Strategy \& Delivery** * Own the local IT strategy in alignment with HARTING’s global IT roadmap. * Ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT services across: + CRM + Data Science \& Engineering + Cloud Administration + (Network) Infrastructure * Improve IT service for the Americas region. * Drive continuous improvement in delivery quality, processes, and service maturity. * Ensure compliance with global IT standards, security, and governance requirements. **Hub Development \& Growth** * Shape and scale the IT Hub as a trusted global delivery and competence center. * Strengthen HARTING’s employer brand in the Mexican IT market. * Build strategic internal and external partnerships to support future growth. * Actively contribute to the evolution of HARTING’s global IT operating model. **Financial \& Operational Responsibility** * Manage budget planning and cost control for the IT Hub. * Ensure efficient use of resources and sustainable growth. * Monitor KPIs related to delivery, people development, and engagement. **What Success Looks Like** * A motivated, engaged, and stable IT team with low attrition. * Strong trust and collaboration with global stakeholders. * Reliable, high\-quality IT delivery in CRM, data science, cloud and infrastructure services. * A growing reputation of the Mexican IT Hub as a key strategic partner within HARTING. **Your Profile** **Experience** * Senior leadership experience in IT, preferably in an international or global organization. * Proven track record in **people leadership**, team development, and talent retention. * Strong exposure to enterprise IT landscapes, ideally including CRM, data science and cloud applications. * Experience working closely in multicultural environments. **Skills \& Competencies** * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Strategic thinker with a hands\-on, pragmatic leadership style. * Ability to inspire, influence, and align diverse teams around a common vision. * Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in building or scaling teams or organizations. * Excellent Spanish and English language skills. **Education** * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, **or equivalent senior leadership experience**. **Why HARTING?** * Opportunity to **shape and lead** a growing IT Hub with real influence. * High visibility role with strong interaction across global leadership. * Combination of strategic responsibility and close people leadership. * Long\-term perspective in a stable, values\-driven family\-owned company.
