Position Summary: We are seeking a Quality Control Leader to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards, leading the quality management system at the plant. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and strengthen the quality management system in manufacturing. 2. Ensure quality of raw materials, production processes, and finished products. 3. Experience leading inspection teams in Quality Control. A well-established manufacturing company with stable industrial operations and a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement is seeking a leader with solid expertise in **Quality Control**, to lead and strengthen its in-plant quality management system. The mission of this position is to ensure that raw materials, the production process, and finished products comply with technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements through inspection, measurement, monitoring, and release activities—preventing the release of nonconforming products. **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise Quality Control activities in receiving, in-process, and finished product areas. * Ensure proper visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of finished products. * Authorize the release or rejection of materials, processes, and finished products. * Administer sampling plans, acceptance criteria, and inspection methods. * Ensure appropriate use and calibration of measuring instruments. * Record, analyze, and report defects, rejections, scrap, and rework. * Identify and contain nonconforming products, coordinating immediate actions with Production. * Train and supervise inspectors. * Support internal and external audits from an operational perspective. * Ensure compliance with standards for organization, discipline, and traceability. **Required Technical Knowledge** * Plastic manufacturing processes: injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, or thermoforming. * Inspection and sampling techniques. * Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings and tolerances. * Use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, thickness gauges, etc.). * Customer quality standards and specifications. * Recording and control of nonconforming product. **Education and Experience** * Industrial Engineering or related field. * Minimum of **3 to 5 years** of experience in **Quality Control** within manufacturing. * **Experience leading inspection teams.** Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $20,000.00 \- $30,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract Work Location: On-site employment
